Integrative psychiatric evaluation
A thorough first visit that looks at your history, symptoms, sleep, nutrition, stress and overall health to understand what is driving how you feel.
At Sol Nest, we take time to understand your story, your health and your life. Then we build a plan of care with you, at a pace that feels right.
“You are more than your symptoms. We care for your mind, your body and your life, because healing happens when all of you is seen.”
Sol Nest
Our name joins two ideas. Sol is the sun: light, warmth and the promise of a new day. A nest is a shelter built with care, a safe place to rest and gather strength before taking flight.
Sol Nest is that place. We created a practice where people feel held, heard and supported, so the hard work of healing can happen in a space that feels like home.
Light, warmth and renewal.
A sheltering place built with care.
Integrative psychiatry combines conventional, evidence-based psychiatric care with a thorough look at the factors that can affect mental health, such as sleep, nutrition, stress, physical health and daily habits. The goal is to understand the whole person and what may be contributing to their symptoms.
At Sol Nest, we use both approaches together. We prescribe medication when it is clinically appropriate, and we also work to identify and address the underlying contributors to how you feel. Medication remains an important, effective part of psychiatric care, and we use it thoughtfully.
Looking for the root cause can help some patients reduce the number of medications they take or the doses they need. Some patients may not need medication at all. These outcomes depend on the findings of your evaluation, and every treatment decision is made with you, guided by clinical judgment and the standard of care.
Diagnosis, treatment planning and medication management when indicated.
A closer look at sleep, nutrition, stress, health history and lifestyle.
Both approaches combined into a plan that fits you and your findings.
Integrative, root-cause-informed outpatient care may be a good fit for people with mild to moderate or otherwise stable symptoms who can safely participate in collaborative care. It is not the right level of support for every person or every moment. An initial evaluation helps determine fit, and some people may need a higher level of care, medical coordination, or urgent support. If you may be in immediate danger or cannot stay safe, call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or call/text 988.
We pair psychiatric expertise with a root-cause approach, so your care looks at what is underneath your symptoms.

These are the professional-grade supplements we use in our integrative care. We recommend Pure Encapsulations products, ordered through our secure Fullscripts dispensary.
Supplements are used to support and manage symptoms. They are not a cure, and they do not replace prescription medication when medication is clinically indicated. Supplements can interact with medications and with each other, so tell your provider about everything you take.
